Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and PZ Dynamics, a California business ("we", "us", "our"), which makes the Servd app. By downloading or using Servd, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. What Servd does

Servd helps you import recipes, plan meals, manage your pantry, and cook multiple dishes on one schedule, using AI for things like reading recipes and building cook plans. Servd is free to use with a monthly allowance of AI uses, and Servd Pro removes those limits and adds sous chef mode.

3. Your account

You need to be at least 13 to use Servd. You're responsible for keeping your Apple or Google sign-in secure and for activity on your account. Please don't share your account with others. Cooking together with a sous chef session or sharing recipes by link doesn't count; that's what they're for.

Recipes and other content you create or import stay yours. You give us a limited permission to store and process that content only to run Servd for you, for example to sync it between devices, build a cook plan from it, or deliver it to someone you share it with. We don't claim ownership of your recipes.

6. Content from other sources

Recipes imported from websites, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, other apps, or documents belong to their original creators. You're responsible for making sure your use of imported content follows the source's terms. Servd is meant for personal use of recipes you save, not for republishing them.

7. Sharing and sous chef sessions

When you share recipes or a meal, anyone with the link can see what you shared until the link expires. When you start a two-device cook session, anyone who scans its QR code can see that cook plan and the names in it. Only share with people you mean to, and only share content you have the right to pass along.

8. Servd Pro subscriptions

Servd Pro is available at these prices (USD):

Prices may be shown in your local currency at checkout. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm your purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your Servd account doesn't cancel the subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, since we don't process payments directly.

If we ever change Pro pricing, Apple or Google will notify you before the new price applies to your subscription.

9. AI-generated content

Cook plans, timings, ingredient suggestions, recipes suggested from photos, food tags, pantry scans, translations, and answers from the cooking assistant are generated by AI and can be wrong. Please use your own judgment, follow safe food handling, check that food is cooked through, and always check ingredients yourself if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. Don't rely on Servd for medical or nutritional advice.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or abuse the service.

11. Disclaimer

Servd is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, PZ Dynamics isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of Servd. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Servd in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Servd after that means you accept the updated terms.
